Landsknecht Rondel - 46 cm - Medieval Merchant

The Landsknecht Rondel from Epic Armoury is a robust 46 cm dagger that takes inspiration from the mercenary Landsknechts of the Hansa State era. Its 28 cm blade features a central ridge, while its fine wood-like handle is protected by a twisted bronze ring-shaped crossguard. The rounded pommel is bronze-colored and represents a basic interpretation of a knight's "rondel dagger." During close-quarter combat against heavily-armored enemies, this dagger would have been used to penetrate the gaps in their armour. To ensure safety, the LARP weapon is built around a sturdy fiberglass rod core with a flexible kevlar tip that prevents punctures. The latex coating requires maintenance to prolong its durability.

Maintenance

All latex-coated weapons need a certain degree of maintenance. For this we recommend using maintenance silicone, which can be purchased separately in the LARP Accessories section. Epic Armoury Maintenance Silicone is an easy, spray-on application, 100% pure and acid-free making it safe to apply. We recommend using Maintenance Silicone on a regular basis. It maintains the latex-coat’s flexibility and prevents it from drying out, keeping the product wear and tear resistant.

Store your latex weapons flat or on its pommel--NEVER on its tip. Use a simple sheet or towel lining to prevent it from touching a plastic or rubber surface to prevent your weapon from adhering to other products. Keep your weapons in a cool, dry environment.
