Dark Moon’s Sapper Shovel is a foam-based spade skillfully crafted to resemble the Russian MPL-50 entrenching tool, making it a perfect accessory for cosplay or LARP enthusiasts. The MPL-50 was a military shovel used for close-quarter combat and a cooking and paddle tool. Our imitation of this weapon captures the same dangerous, gritty feel of the original. Made from EVA foam around a solid fibreglass rod, the Sapper Shovel is coated in a durable layer of latex, ensuring its safety and providing a realistic, smooth surface. The handle has been hand-painted to simulate the wood’s natural grain, while the head features a rusted, dirty appearance with realistic details such as nail heads and overlapping plates. Although not practical for digging or cooking, this shovel is ideal for battling zombies, grease gangs, and radioactive insects in your favourite post-apocalyptic game. Use this improvised weapon to add authenticity to your character and impress your fellow players.
