Epic Armoury's Protection Gel is designed to maintain Live Action Role Playing foam weapons and equipment covered with latex and varnish while reducing strike friction on weapons. This high-viscosity gel (MPH 350) offers a thicker coating than liquid solutions. It has been specially developed for the Stronghold Master Collection, making it ideal for strike surfaces such as axe- and sword blades or shields. A coating from the Protection Gel protects against heat and sunlight, preventing latex from drying out while reducing friction and preserving details such as form and paint. Always coat latex equipment with a thin layer of silicone to prevent the surfaces from drying out and prolong the lifespan of your equipment while also lowering friction and preserving the colour and shape of blade edges. Before and after use, check your latex equipment and apply the Protection Gel onto a piece of cloth or directly onto your latex product, working it into the entire surface (avoiding leather handles) with a cloth or handkerchief. Wipe any excess with a dry cotton cloth, and always store your latex equipment in a dry, out-of-direct sunlight location. The Protection Gel is available in 100 ml gel and 250 ml Pump Action.
