Epic Armoury's Gim Sword, a part of the Vanguard line, draws inspiration from Chinese Jian and other Asian weapons. It's designed for one- and two-handed use, featuring a grip suitable for such versatility.

What sets it apart is its smaller crossguard compared to typical European swords, which allows for a wider range of movement when wielding the blade. The hilt, crafted from polyurethane, is intricately detailed to resemble dragon or snake scales, adorned with gold accents. This ensures a secure grip for the wielder.

The blade, constructed from closed-cell polyurethane foam, is skillfully coloured to appear realistic. Remarkably, unlike most LARP weapons, the Vanguard line stands out by requiring minimal maintenance, primarily checking for any cuts or breaks.
